Ryan and his family came to CSU in
the Fall of 2006. Ryan and his wife Emily are orginally from Edmond Oklahoma
and were high school sweet hearts (don't say cheezy). Both Ryan and Emily
attended the University of Oklahoma where they joined CSU fans in booing CU.
They were married their senior year of college and absolutely loved it!
After graduating in 1997, Ryan and Emily went with Mission to the World to
Japan where they served on the Chiba Team for one year. Upon returning to
the states in 1998, Ryan pursued a career in sales and they began a family;
Grayson was born in 2000. In 2001 the Lord laid it on
Ryan's heart to pursue
full time ministry and they moved to Saint Louis to attend Covenant Theological
Seminary. Five years later, and with the addition of their second son
Coleman, the Bakers moved to Fort Collins Colorado. It wasn't too
difficult moving where Money Magazine rated the best place to live! Now with a third child, this time a daughter named Meredith Ann, Ryan is loving
the time he spends with the college students at RUF here at Colorado
State.
